UNDERWRITER MARINE HULL
Your field of activity is the international shipping world and you speak the language of the shipping. Operating within a team environment you will be responsible for your own network of insurance brokers and clients.
You will be handling the full underwriting process for new and existing clients. The job involves international travel, negotiating insurance contracts, developing new markets, managing risks, research, technical communication and high levels of client servicing. A proactive attitude is essential as you will be required to maximize opportunities for business development within the broker market concentrating on both new business and broker retention. An in-house training program on insurance as well as market and product development will be given.
Your qualifications:
- Excellent acquisition and sales skills
- Background in international Marine Hull Insurance
- Team player with pro-active and investigative mindset
- Education on bachelor level
- Excellent communication and advisory skills
- Excellent knowledge of English
