Bunker Blue Card Request Form

If you are an existing client of RaetsMarine, and you wish to request a Bunker Convention Blue Card, please complete the form below. Our underwriting department will then check to make sure that your existing insurance cover is compliant with the demands of the Bunker Convention, before sending you a separate email with a web link, username and password so that you can download your Blue Card immediately.

If your current insurance cover does not comply with the Bunker Convention, we will contact you directly to inform you of the steps you need to take. In particular, you may need to take out, or expand, your current War Risk cover.

This number can be found at the right top of your Certificate of Insurance starting with 500.....

It might be that you have a War Risk cover in place up to the hull value of your vessel. It is compulsory to have a War Risk cover in place under the Bunker Convention. This means that an additional War Risk cover is required, covering the excess between the hull value of your vessel up to the limit of liability required under the Bunker Convention. It might also be that you do not have a War Risk cover in place.

Please note that we can provide you with a quotation, either for the excess cover or for the full cover up to the limit of liability required under the Bunker Convention.
